It's Time To Take Care of Your Soul
If you want to get in shape, you go to the gym and pump some iron, jog on treadmill, and fire off some sit-ups.
If you are hungry, you go to the kitchen or to a restaurant and grab a bite to eat.
But what do you do when you it is your soul that needs to be buffed up or fed?
We like to think that everything we do happens in isolation. We put our family in one corner, our career in the other. We are one person at the office, another at home, and an entirely different human being on the golf course. We've bought into this notion that you can't have your cake and eat it too. It’s wrong. You can portray different roles. You can be different things to different people. But at the end of the day, you are you. Now the trick is to be the best you possible and that comes from your soul, not how much your physique has improved or how you’ve changed to a healthy diet.
Too often, we go desperately, blindly, awkwardly, in search of answers to figure out why we have this nagging feeling deep within us. What is the problem? Why are we feeling this way? We try to push the feelings aside by working harder, playing harder, trying to find the right balance between the two. But we never get out of the rut.
We don’t like who we are at home. We drag the problems at work home with us and that only makes thing worse. We aren’t getting along with anyone. Nothing makes us feel any better. Nothing puts a smile on our face.
You’re not enjoying your work. You aren’t coming home to the joy of your family. You feel like the time to make anything happen with your life – your dreams, your aspirations – has come and gone without anything to show for it.
Even if you’re in shape and eating right, something is still not right. You’re out of guesses and not sure where to turn next.
So, how is your soul doing?
It’s a difficult question to ask yourself or ask someone else. But there is an answer. All you have to do is choose a better path to follow. Fret not, though. You won’t be alone on the journey. The only thing standing in your way is one last question … are you ready to take the step forward and follow the path to your destiny?
All you have to do is take that step.
Waiting for you on the other side of the door is an experience that was created just for you. You will find many others like you yet each of you will find something different from this experience. It's your personal journey but there’s a lot of people making the trip.
During this experience, the answers you seek on your soul self-improvement journey features a unique and inspiring blend of live music, media and spoken word. The creativity on display rivals any venue in the city.
Wouldn’t you want to take the opportunity to attend this type of experience? It can guide your future, help you discover your purpose, reinvigorate you, and bring to a point where you are able to find harmony in your life and thrive with your family.
This step-in-the-right-direction journey will take place on Sunday, September 18th at the Horizon Stage in Spruce Grove starting at 1 p.m. I’ll be there with my family and we invite you and yours to attend.
Call it a concert. Call it therapy. Call it building a community. Call it whatever you want.
I call it church, but the name doesn’t really matter. One thing is for certain. This is not your grandma’s church. We don’t need a judgmental old lady at the organ and stained glass.
It is about the journey … an incredible, life-changing event. Let’s make the journey together.
If you feel your soul needs to be woken up, stirred to life, and ignited by a new flame, you need to make the change.
I think you’re ready to do it.
So on Sunday, September 18th, make it happen.
The festivities start with a red carpet entrance beginning at Noon.
The experience launches at 1 p.m. at the Horizon Stage in Spruce Grove.
