At best your future is uncertain, and at worst the instability of your life feels like an earthquake where the ground crumbles beneath us, and sink holes try to swallow us up at every turn.

The truth is the journey of life is not the fairytale that you grew up believing. Some of our favorite story's end with the famous line, Happily Ever After, and I would contend that while that seems to be a fairytale in itself, that it is in fact possible.

I just happen to believe that Happily Ever After is a state of mind more than it is a way of life.

The truth is that no matter what the circumstance our lives always carry a certain amount of uncertainty. There are no guarantee's that we will wake up, or even guarantee's that we will be employed tomorrow, especially in economic times like these. With more scientific advances & medical breakthroughs it just seems that we keep uncovering more things to kill us, as opposed to more things that can actually keep us alive.

So what has changed? You ready for it... NOTHING. Nothing has changed. Even though the climate of today may seem bleak or the outlook dim, absolutely nothing has changed. You may have heard the phrase, PERCEPTION IS REALITY, well guess what, you just perceived that things are worse than they've ever been.

In reality, the number of things that could kill me yesterday are the exact same as they are today. Even if new things pop up, other things fall away. The probability of my breakthrough moment is the same today as it was yesterday and it is the same as it will be tomorrow. The more things seem to be out of control or stacking up against, the more we need to realize that in reality, nothing has really changed.

Here's what that means for me. Their is a world full of opportunity out there, ready for me to conquer it. While the world may seem to be spinning around me, my feet are planted squarely on a firm foundation, and I choose today to see with eyes of faith. You may have heard this type of rhetoric before, but I want to encourage you that there is something more than a half-glass full mentality.

I am talking about discovering #RealFaith4RealLife

I will be writing more about this over the coming few weeks... just remember...
